Martin Appreciation Lunch – This Sunday at Noon!

Dear Church Family and Friends,

This Sunday, following the service, we are going to have a special finger food luncheon following the service. Arlin and Janet Martin, the founders of our congregation, have touched many lives. We want to gather at noon to celebrate their selfless ministry among us for the past 20 years. It also happens that the Martins are celebrating 60 years of marriage! We want to open this invitation to all those who have been touched by their lives.

Please pass the word on to community members and invite them to join with us for lunch this Sunday.

James Jones brought a wonderful message this past Sunday. Thank you James for being faithful to the call of God in your life.

Our first monthly gathering after August 31st will be on Sunday, Sept. 22nd at 10am. We will be announcing the location soon. Please mark your calendars. This will be the first of our monthly gatherings in homes starting in September.

We will continue to meet in our small groups in homes. Men’s group will be meeting on every first and third Thursday. Women’s group will be meeting on every 2nd and fourth Wednesday. The Daytimers will continue to meet every other Tuesday as well. Those who would like to continue to participate in an ongoing Sunday group are invited to attend the Dwelling Place, our sister church in Charlottesville. The Dwelling Place meets every Sunday afternoon at 4pm with a carry-in dinner following the meeting at 6pm. The location for the meeting is 115 10th St. N.W. Charlottesville.

Everyone receiving this email is invited to join us this Sunday at noon at a luncheon for Arlin and Janet Martin. Please bring a finger food dish to share with others.

Hope to see you on Sunday,

Jon Quesenberry
