Tonight we will gather as a church body to seek the Lord in prayer from 7pm – 8pm. All are invited to attend! Our aim is to seek God regarding His purposes for us as individuals and for the future of our RCC church family.
The Bible instructs us: “Call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.” In obedience to the pattern of God’s people in the bible that is exactly what we plan to do. The insights and discernment that we receive in prayer during this time and over the next months will guide us as we move forward. It is important to come with the absence of agendas but instead with open hearts to hear what God will say to each one of us individually and corporately. I am looking forward to tonight because we are confident that when we earnestly call out to Him that he answers giving us discernment that we didn’t have before we prayed. “Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3
Our plan for the evening is to give some preparatory time to thanking the Lord for His goodness. Then we want to have a short period for personal and corporate examination and repentance. Following this time of prayerful preparation will be giving our attention to intercession and listening to the Lord as we wait upon Him.See you tonight, Pastor Jon Quesenberry
